Bryant took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 67-66 photo finish over the Daphne Trojans. The score was all tied up 29-29 at the break, but the Hurricanes were the better team in the second half.

JT Esfeller was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 55% from beyond the arc en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Virgil Dale, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 14 points and seven boards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryant will host Saraland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Daphne, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Baldwin County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
