Soccer Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy managed to keep up with Segerstrom until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Kennedy Fighting Irish came up short against the Segerstrom Jaguars, falling 3-0. One reason for the loss might be the Fighting Irish's aggressive play style: three Kennedy players were handed yellow cards.

Kennedy's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9. As for Segerstrom, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9-5.

Kennedy will face off against Samueli Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Segerstrom, they will square off against Calvary Chapel at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
