Abingdon/Avon came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Annawan Braves/Bravettes by a score of 53-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-54 last Tuesday.

Jacob M Hall was the offensive standout of the contest as he posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ryker Darst, who had 12 points.

Abingdon/Avon's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Annawan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-6.
