Soccer Recap: New Castle Takes a Loss

New Castle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Shelbyville Golden Bears. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for New Castle it sure didn't stay that way.

New Castle's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Shelbyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Castle will square off against Pendleton Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelbyville, they will face off against Whiteland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
