Volleyball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne lost against Centerville on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Elks, falling 3-0.

Wayne was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.

Wayne has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Centerville, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Wayne has already played their next match (against Chaminade Julienne Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Centerville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Miamisburg on the 2nd.
