Volleyball Recap: Costa Mesa Finds Home Court Redemption Against Downey

There's no place like home for Costa Mesa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Downey Vikings 3-2 on Wednesday.

Costa Mesa was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 15-8.

Costa Mesa has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-19 record this season. As for Downey, they moved to 19-8 with that loss, which also ended their 15-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Costa Mesa nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
