Volleyball Recap: Argo Argonauts vs. Niles North Vikings
Argo lost against Niles North back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Argonauts fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1.
Sebastian Pardol paced Argo's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pardol got some help from Alexander Jakowicki and his 25 assists. Christian Zubek controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Niles North can attribute much of their success to Rafael dan Bartilad, who had 15 digs. Bartilad is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Argo's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Niles North, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
Argo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bremen on the 29th. As for Niles North, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Highland Park on the 29th.
