After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Klein Oak, Klein Cain was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Victoria West Warriors 3-0. The Hurricanes not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Their offense was headlined by Kelly Wright and Hana Penberthy, who picked up ten kills apiece. Penberthy really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 23. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Klein Cain is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Victoria West fell to 18-1.

Coincidentally, Klein Cain and Victoria West will both be playing BVCHEA HomeSchool the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will head out to face the Mustangs at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 3:45 p.m.
