Football Game Preview: Auburndale Bloodhounds vs. Sebring Blue Streaks

The Auburndale Bloodhounds will face off against the Sebring Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburndale's defense has only allowed 5.8 points per game this season, so Sebring's offense will have their work cut out for them.

If Auburndale beats Sebring with 18 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Bloodhounds managed an 18-13 win over Winter Haven on Wednesday. Given the Bloodhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Blue Devils are ranked 235th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Sebring rose to the challenge on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Braves a 20-0 shutout. The Blue Streaks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Sebring and bumps their season record up to 4-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Auburndale, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
