Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McKeesport). Everything went their way against the Mars Fightin' Planets on Friday as they made off with a 56-31 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Fightin' Planets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Mars still got an impressive performance from Ayden Yocum, who rushed for 235 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Yocum really tore up the turf during one magnificent 91-yard run. Gabe Hein also helped out with an impressive 117 receiving yards.

McKeesport's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Mars, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-2.

McKeesport didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-6 win against Indiana on the 17th. As for Mars, they have also already played their next game, a 49-10 victory against Hampton on the 17th.
