Basketball Game Preview: Lompoc Braves vs. Morro Bay Pirates + How To Watch

The Lompoc Braves are taking a road trip to challenge the Morro Bay Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lompoc is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Dos Pueblos on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Braves were beaten by the Chargers 88-41. The Braves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-20.

Meanwhile, Morro Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 96-55 loss at the hands of Kerman.

Morro Bay's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lompoc, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.

Everything came up roses for Lompoc against Morro Bay when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
