Belleview came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Weeki Wachee, but Jayden Parent wouldn't allow it. The Weeki Wachee Hornets breezed by the Belleview Rattlers to the tune of 86-53 on Wednesday thanks in part to Parent, who went 9 of 13 on his way to 23 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Weeki Wachee's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-14. As for Belleview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Weeki Wachee will venture away from home to take on Crystal River at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belleview, they and Citrus will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Belleview is facing Citrus at the right time seeing as Citrus is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
