Soccer Recap: Colonial Forge Takes a Loss

Colonial Forge lost against Mountain View back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Colonial Forge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Mountain View are ranked seventh).

This is the second loss in a row for Colonial Forge and nudges their season record down to 4-4-3. As for Mountain View, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Colonial Forge is set to challenge their familiar foe Riverbend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mountain View will take on rival Brooke Point at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
