It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seven Lakes can now relate to. They lost 15-7 to the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders on Wednesday. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Owen Wade made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Christian Villamizar, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Seven Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Strake Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

While Seven Lakes had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
