For the second straight game, Alta will face off against Bountiful. The Hawks will head out to challenge the Redhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Alta is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Bountiful on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redhawks. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Alta got a good showing from Adrian Velador, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the first time Velador hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in March.

The victory (which was Bountiful's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-11. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Alta, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
