Firestone came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Walsh Jesuit Warriors. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Firestone ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-20.

Elijah Myers paced Firestone's offense, picking up 17 kills. Myers got some help from Tala Paing and his 18 assists. Myers was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Firestone's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Walsh Jesuit, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Firestone will challenge rival Steele at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit is set to square off against their familiar foe Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
