Football Recap: Eliana Heeres and Wren Freeman Pace Littleton Defense

Littleton lost against Arapahoe back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions came up short against the Warriors, falling 27-6.

Even if they lost, Littleton's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Eliana Heeres and Wren Freeman, who racked up four sacks between them.

Littleton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arapahoe, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Littleton will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Golden at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions are facing the Demons at the right time seeing as the Demons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Arapahoe, they will venture away from home to square off against Mountain Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
