Baseball Recap: Parkrose Takes a Loss

Parkrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Wilsonville Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

Parkrose saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julius Blair, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Parkrose's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Wilsonville, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Parkrose is set to square off against their familiar foe Hillsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wilsonville will challenge rival Putnam at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
