After a string of four wins, Singer's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 68-25 loss at the hands of the Pickering Red Devils. The Hornets lost against the Red Devils in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 41-19 score last time.

Singer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Pickering, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Singer will venture away from home to challenge Vinton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Singer is facing Vinton at the right time seeing as Vinton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pickering, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grand Lake on December 30th.
