Basketball Recap: Madison County Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Madison County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Fort White Indians by a score of 46-44 on Wednesday. The Cowboys have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Tafari Moe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fort White, going 9-for-19 to rack up 26 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Jackspn, who posted 11 points.

Madison County's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Fort White, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Madison County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort White, they will challenge Hilliard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hilliard has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three games.
