Manteca put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-20 victory over the East Union Lancers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Buffaloes' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Lancers are ranked 208th).

Manteca's record now sits at 8-0. As for East Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manteca will challenge Patterson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Nikko Juarez and Dasen Pettis. As for East Union, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain House at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
