Baseball Recap: College Station Comes Up Short

College Station was the 4-3 winner over Montgomery when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. College Station fell just short of Montgomery by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

College Station's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Montgomery, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-8-2.

Coming up, College Station will host Rouse at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Montgomery, they will be playing at home against Rudder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montgomery's pitchers better be ready for this one: Rudder has averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
