Basketball Recap: Marshall Bobcats vs. Lead Hill Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Marshall challenged Lead Hill on Friday. The Marshall Bobcats took a 72-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lead Hill Tigers. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.
Lead Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nolan Turner, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Turner has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times he's played.
