Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 6-1. Everything went their way against the Acadiana Home School Athletics Commandos as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in August.

As for Acadiana Home School Athletics, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since October 15, 2024.

Several Commandos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emily Mader, who had nine digs and six kills. Another player making a difference was Julia West, who had six kills and six digs.

Coming up, Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool will challenge Lake Area HomeSchool Sports at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Acadiana Home School Athletics, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Acadiana Christian on the 12th.
