Cornerstone Charter waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Phoenix Academy Firebirds a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Cornerstone Charter, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Phoenix Academy from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Kinsey Councilman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.
