Basketball Recap: Red Jacket Comes Up Short

Red Jacket suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2025 on Wednesday. They lost 59-33 to the Bloomfield Bombers. Red Jacket hasn't had much luck with Bloomfield recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the loss, Red Jacket still got an impressive performance from McKenna Rush, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. Katie Stratton also deserves some recognition as she pulled down her first boards of the season.

Red Jacket's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Bloomfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Red Jacket nor Bloomfield have any future games scheduled.
