Volleyball Recap: Spring Grove Comes Up Short

After flying high against William Penn last Thursday, Spring Grove came back down to earth. Spring Grove came up short against the Ephrata Mountaineers on Monday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rockets have suffered since April 24, 2024.

While Spring Grove was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.

Spring Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Ephrata, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Grove will square off against Northeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ephrata, they will face off against Elizabethtown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
