Lower Dauphin is a perfect 7-0 against Gettysburg since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 4:15 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Gettysburg will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Lower Dauphin extended their winning streak to six on Monday. Everything went the Falcons' way against Central Dauphin East as they made off with a 15-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gettysburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Palmyra a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Brie Shorb, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Palmyra off the board. Shorb has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Gettysburg got a big performance out of Cate Green, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Green has posted since back in March. Fallon Jackson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Gettysburg's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Lower Dauphin, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Lower Dauphin beat Gettysburg 5-0 when the teams last played back in April. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
