Eureka extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Megan Johnson. Everything went the Eureka Vandals' way against the Wells Leopards on Friday as the Eureka Vandals made off with a 44-19 victory thanks in part to Johnson, who went 7 for 14 to rack up 18 points along with six boards and six steals. She is becoming a predictor of Eureka's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when she doesn't).

Natalie Gray was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

Eureka pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.5 points over those games. As for Wells, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.

Eureka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-3 victory against Jackpot on the 8th. As for Wells, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-30 win against Lund on the 8th.
