Soccer Recap: Bishop Snyder Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bishop Snyder, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Westside Wolverines on Thursday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Bishop Snyder's offense was hitting Westside from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Daisy Ortega led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win snapped Bishop Snyder's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5-2 record. As for Westside, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9-2.

Bishop Snyder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westside has already played their next contest (against Duval Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
