North Buncombe entered their contest against Brevard on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The North Buncombe Black Hawks were beaten by the Brevard Blue Devils 56-14. The Black Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

As for Brevard, they will venture away from home to face off against East Rutherford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Rutherford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 point or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Brevard likes a good challenge.
