Football Recap: Grayslake Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grayslake North last Friday, Grayslake Central came back down to earth. The Rams lost 53-27 to the Wauconda Bulldogs on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 130th).

Grayslake Central now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wauconda, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Grayslake Central will take on rival Grant Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wauconda is set to square off against their familiar foe Antioch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
