Football Recap: Grayslake Central Takes a Loss

If Grayslake Central was feeling good fresh off their 28-6 takedown of Grayslake North last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams lost 53-27 to the Wauconda Bulldogs on Friday. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Cole Korycanek had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 87 yards and one score on only nine carries for Wauconda.

Grayslake Central now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wauconda, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Grayslake Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 54-20 loss against Grant Community on the 17th. As for Wauconda, they have also already played their next game, a 25-20 victory against Antioch on the 17th.
