Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Eagle Rock last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Franklin Panthers took a 65-49 bruising from the Eagle Rock Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Eagle Rock, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Franklin will venture away from home to challenge Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin is facing Bravo at the right time seeing as Bravo is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Eagle Rock, they will take on Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eagle Rock comes in on four and Marshall on seven.
