Triplains/Brewster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Bethune Bobcats, falling 53-26. One positive for the Titans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Madilyn Powell went supernova for Bethune, going 8 of 20 en route to 23 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Powell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Samantha Robinson, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds.

Triplains/Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bethune, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triplains/Brewster won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Golden Plains at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethune, they will square off against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bethune surely won't give up without a fight.
