Soccer Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

The Lakeside Lancers didn't have quite enough to beat the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

Lakeside's goal came courtesy of Chris Luis, who's now up to two this season.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lakeside will head out on the road to square off against Vista Murrieta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they will be playing at home against Santa Ana Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
