Basketball Recap: Grass Range/Winnett Victorious

With a playoff win on the line, Grass Range/Winnett rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 65-54 win over the West Yellowstone Wolverines.

West Yellowstone's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abrams Clark, who shot 50% from the field en route to 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Clark is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Austin Hales was another key player, putting up 16 points and five boards.

Grass Range/Winnett now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Yellowstone, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Grass Range/Winnett has already played their next matchup, a 55-49 victory against Manhattan Christian on the 14th. West Yellowstone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
