The East Central HomeSchool Patriots breezed by the Bessemer Academy Rebels to the tune of 55-20 thanks in part to Nelson, who went 8 of 20 on her way to 20 points in addition to six boards and six steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 26 times she's played.

East Central HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Bessemer Academy, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
