The Ridgeline Riverhawks will head out to face off against the Morgan Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Ridgeline made easy work of Logan and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Riverhawks.
Ridgeline not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Logan between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

Ridgeline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jentzen Budge, who had nine digs and five aces. What's more, Budge posted two kills, the most he's had since back in March.
Budge wasn't the only good server: Ridgeline was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Morgan entered their tilt with Grantsville on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 3-1.
Morgan was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (93-90), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 26-24, 27-25, 26-19.
Ridgeline's record now sits at 11-8. As for Morgan, their record is now 12-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Ridgeline has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Morgan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Ridgeline took their win against Morgan in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Riverhawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
