Softball Recap: Montgomery Aztecs vs. Hilltop Lancers
Montgomery extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 11-8 in the process. They lost 11-3 to the Hilltop Lancers. The Aztecs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
Montgomery saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gisela Acosta, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Isabella Navarro, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI.

Montgomery has already played their next game, a 22-5 loss against Sweetwater on the 15th. As for Hilltop, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-2 defeat against Clairemont on the 16th.
