Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Roosevelt can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 75-45 loss at the hands of the Lincoln Cardinals. The Roughriders' loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Lincoln, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

Coming up, Roosevelt will face off against Benson Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to take on Cleveland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three matchups.
