Volleyball Recap: Kohler Takes a Loss

Kohler lost against Howards Grove back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Bombers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Riley Holzrichter paced Kohler's offense, picking up five kills. Holzrichter got some help from Ava Erlien and her 12 assists. Erlien was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Kohler has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Howards Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Kohler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sheboygan Falls on the 13th. As for Howards Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Plymouth on the 13th.
