Dixie has gone 9-1 against Crimson Cliffs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Dixie Flyers will look to defend their home court against the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Dixie and five for Crimson Cliffs.

Dixie is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Cedar on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Dixie took a blow against Cedar, falling 67-39. The Flyers were down 51-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Crimson Cliffs lost to Desert Hills at home by a 62-47 margin on Thursday.

Dixie will need focus on slowing down Jayda Alofipo, one of several Crimson Cliffs players who made an impact when they last played. She posted ten points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Alofipo a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Myers, who scored 16 points and seven boards.

Dixie's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Crimson Cliffs, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Everything came up roses for Dixie against Crimson Cliffs in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the squad secured an 80-48 win. Will Dixie repeat their success, or does Crimson Cliffs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
