Clarence entered their tilt with Williamsville North on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Spartans. Given Clarence's advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Williamsville North are ranked 106th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bennett Garigen and Jacob Putnam scored both of Clarence's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Clarence's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Williamsville North, they dropped their record down to 4-5-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
