Basketball Recap: Houston County Bears vs. Lee County Trojans

Houston County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Lee County Trojans and fell 62-30. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Trojans are ranked 55th).

Lee County found their leader in sophomore Taliyah Porter, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Porter has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaliyah Crump, who posted eight points and seven steals.

Houston County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Lee County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-6.
