Basketball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

If Centennial was feeling good fresh off their 61-41 takedown of Blessed Trinity on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 56-41 to the Cambridge Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Cambridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cambridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Westminster at 8:00 p.m.
