Basketball Game Preview: Fishers Tigers vs. Stevenson Patriots

The Fishers Tigers will take on the Stevenson Patriots in a tournament on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Fishers is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Evansville Central, who was ranked 20th at the time (Fishers was ranked 25th). Fishers took a 65-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Evansville Central on Friday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fishers might have lost, but man, Riley Schellhammer was a machine: she went 7 for 17 on her way to 23 points and eight steals. Schellhammer has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

Meanwhile, Stevenson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 45-39 to St. Charles North.
