Hockaday waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Daisies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hockaday was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.

Clara Gruner paced Hockaday's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gruner got some help from Avery Park and her 18 assists. Ai-Vy Ho controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Hockaday's win bumped their record up to 20-17. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they dropped their record down to 12-20 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Hockaday has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Greenhill on the 30th. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Texas Lions Academy on the 6th.
