Softball Recap: John Ehret Has No Trouble Against Willow

The matchup between John Ehret and Willow on Tuesday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Patriots put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 20-10 win.

Jalynn Cordova-Lofton was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Demolle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

The victory got John Ehret back to even at 2-2-1. As for Willow, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4-1.

Coming up, John Ehret will head out to take on New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Willow, they will challenge McDonogh 35 at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
