Volleyball Recap: Mariemont Wins Going Away Against Indian Hill

Mariemont waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Indian Hill Braves. The matchup marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory didn't come easy: Indian Hill scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Annie Tully paced Mariemont's offense, picking up 18 kills. Tully got some help from Elle Seichter and her 40 assists. Seichter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Indian Hill saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lily Levental had 14 digs and one assist. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Levental.

Mariemont's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Indian Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
